We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary SEN school which is supportive and a forward-thinking school located in the South East of Sheffield. The school offers a well-structured, broad and balanced curriculum designed to meet the diverse needs of its pupils
This role is available from September on an ad hoc/day-to-day basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. It's a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing environment that values inclusive education and aims to help every student thrive.
The ideal candidate would have:
* Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and SEN needs
* Experience in education or care within the last 12 months
* Background supporting Early Years, Key Stage 1 (KS1), or Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
* Team Teach training (desirable)
* Moving & Handling training (desirable)
* Two satisfactory references
