Salary: £100 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Chesterfield. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, compassionate, and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN.
Assist in delivering tailored learning strategies to meet individual needs.
Encourage students' confidence, independence, and engagement in lessons.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to implement personalised learning plans.
Assist with managing behaviour and promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Support students with emotional regulation, communication, and social skills.
Requirements of the SEN Teaching Assistant (TA):
Previous experience working with SEN students or relevant training is preferred.
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Understanding of various SEN conditions.
Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
