Job Description
Art Teacher Required in Northwest London - Immediate Start
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an Art Teacher to join a "Ofsted GOOD" Alternative Provision in the Kingsbury area (Northwest London), who specialise in supporting young people (key stage 3 & 4) who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education with a focus on re-engagement through high expectations and a supportive environment.
The typical class size is between 6 - 10 and the students will be working at the national curriculum average (with adjustments needed for individual learning levels).
Daily Rate: Paid to scale
Location: Kingsbury, Northwest London (NW9)
Contract Type: Long-Term (Temp to Perm)
Start Date: ASAP 2025
Key Requirements:
QTS or equivalent and experience of working in UK schools (Unqualified Teachers with relevant subject experience will also be considered).
Valid and Enhanced Child or Child and Adult DBS check registered on the update service (or willing to process a new one).
The school is looking for excellent practitioners who have a love of learning, energy, enthusiasm and resilience.
