Location: Totton
Salary: £82.80 to £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP/ September 2025

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated individuals to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in schools across Totton.
Whether you’re an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or looking to start your journey in special education, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a variety of SEN, including Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and Complex Learning Difficulties.
Assist with personal care tasks when necessary (experience in this area is highly valued).
Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and families to support and implement personalised learning plans.

Experience supporting children or adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN), with personal care experience considered a strong advantage. The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others. A willingness to learn is key, as full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you grow in the Teaching Assistant role.
