GSL Education is working in partnership with a welcoming school in Winchester, seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with a range of complex needs. This rewarding opportunity starts in September and offers invaluable classroom experience ahead of potential teacher training.
It offers hands-on experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and contributing to classroom activities across a supportive school environment.

Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Special School in Winchester
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £82.80 to £100 per day
Teaching Assistants' Role Will Include:
Providing 1:1 support for SEN pupils with EHCPs
Supporting children with learning difficulties, including ADHD, SEMH and ASC.
Assisting small groups within the classroom
Supporting teachers with general classroom responsibilities
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
We're Looking For:
Ideally, have some experience working with children or young people
Have experience or a passion for working with children with SEN
Are passionate about helping all learners achieve their full potential
Communicate clearly and build strong relationships with staff and students
