We’re currently seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs at a special school located in Basingstoke. This school is passionate about providing every child with the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant:
Deliver tailored support for a pupil with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, both in and outside the classroom.
Assist with learning tasks, transitions, and playtime supervision.
Support the class teacher in implementing inclusive strategies.
Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment.
What We’re Looking for in a SEN Teaching Assistant:
Has relevant experience working in a school setting.
Passion for working with children with SEN.
Understands how to support children with communication and interaction challenges.
Uses a range of communication strategies with patience and empathy.
Is genuinely passionate about creating an inclusive and encouraging school experience for all pupils.

Salary: Contract: £82.80 to £100 per day
