Key responsibilities
As a SEN teaching assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students across Key Stages 3–5
• Assist pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties
• Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to deliver differentiated support plans
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Encourage independence, resilience, and confidence in every learner
What we’re looking for
• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
• A calm, nurturing, and flexible approach
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for helping every child achieve their potential
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
