The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCPs and personalised learning strategies.
Encourage independence, boost confidence, and celebrate every milestone with your students.
Adapt learning activities to ensure accessibility and engagement.
Promote emotional well-being and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
✅ Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
A calm, patient, and proactive approach.
Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Passionate about inclusive education and pupil progress.
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant training (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
