Teaching Assistant - Reception (Autism Support)
Location: Kilburn, North West London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: 1-Year Fixed Term (with potential to become permanent)
Hours: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Are you a patient, nurturing and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting children with autism in their early learning journey?
A warm and inclusive small primary school in Kilburn is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with autism in a Reception class, starting September 2025. This is a full-time, term-time only position on a one-year fixed contract, with the strong possibility of becoming a permanent role.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with autism within the EYFS setting
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions and strategies
Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Support children's social, emotional and communication development

Experience working with children with autism and/or in an EYFS setting
A calm, empathetic and flexible approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to helping every child thrive
