Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 and Group Support)

Salary: £85-£120 per day (depending on experience)
Veritas Education is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southwark, currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive staff team committed to providing the best outcomes for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
Assist in delivering small group interventions to help pupils achieve their educational and personal goals.
Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
Adapt resources and strategies to meet the individual needs of pupils.
Contribute to a positive, nurturing learning environment.Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond flexibly to the needs of the day.
A genuine passion for supporting children's development.Desirable Qualifications:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification
Relevant experience in a school, childcare or support setting
