This full-time, long-term role will see you working 1:1 with a bright, high-achieving Year 4 pupil who requires tailored emotional and behavioural support to thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide consistent 1:1 support to a child with SEMH needs
• Assist in managing emotional regulation and behaviour
• Reinforce academic tasks and scaffold learning to help maintain high academic performance
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
• Implement behaviour strategies and encourage positive emotional development
Ideal Candidate
• Prior experience supporting children with SEMH needs (essential)
• A calm, nurturing and resilient approach
• A relevant degree (desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive attitude and ability to adapt support strategies as needed
