SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School, Taunton 🌟
📍 Location: Taunton
🕒 Hours: Full-time (32.5 hours per week), Term Time Only
📅 Start Date: September 2025 (or as soon as possible)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Taunton is seeking a committed and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, term-time only role, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs across the school.
💼 The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies
Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs)
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for helping children thrive
Enhanced Childworkforce DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one!)
🎓 Desirable:
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification)
