Salary: £85-£100 per day

Are you ready to make a real impact in the lives of young people with additional needs? GSL Education is currently looking to appoint a number of SEN Teaching Assistants to support our inclusive and well-established client schools in Slough, starting from September 2025.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will possess the following:
Bring a minimum of one year’s experience supporting individuals with SEN, either in schools, childcare, or care environments
Be a motivated and compassionate professional who is passionate about helping learners thrive
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with emotional and behavioural needs, helping them access the curriculum
Demonstrate a high level of care, resilience, and commitment to supporting diverse learners
Be comfortable working with children who need tailored behavioural and emotional support
Be a team player with a sense of humour and a genuine interest in supporting young people
Support students in line with individual learning plans, while also helping to track progress and engagement
Applicants are required to have the following:
Be patient, energetic, and confident managing behaviour
Have the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be open to applying for one through GSL Education
Be able to provide at least one professional, school-based reference
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
