About the role:
Teach Now is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the school from September 2025. You will provide support across Key Stage 1 and 2, with a particular focus on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, your role will be central to helping pupils build confidence, engage with learning, and reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD
• Assist in planning and delivering tailored interventions
• Promote engagement, confidence, and independence in learning
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Support the inclusive values and aims of the school
About you:
• Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic
• Experienced in supporting children with SEN, especially ASD
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to making a difference
