SEN TA (1:1 Support) - Primary School Bolton
Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child's educational journey? Tradewind is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a primary-aged pupil in Bolton, starting September 2025.
What the role involves:
Working one-to-one with a pupil who has specific SEN needs, ensuring they can fully participate in classroom activities.
Helping to implement and review an Individual Education Plan (IEP), tracking progress and celebrating milestones.
Providing both academic and personal support-during lessons, break times, and where needed for personal care.
Collaborating closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop strategies that enhance inclusion.Ideal candidate profile:
Hold a Level 2/3 TA qualification, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrable experience supporting children with special educational needs.
Patience, strong communication skills, empathy, and a proactive mindset.
Enhanced DBS clearance, or the willingness to obtain one.What we offer:
