The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
The role of the SEN Teaching Assistant is to support students aged 11–16-year-olds with ASD, non-verbal, behavioural needs and complex needs in small groups on a 3:1 ratio. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need to be patient, adaptable and focus on clear and effective communication with your key students. The role of an SEN Teaching Assistant will consist of working with a range of abilities and tailoring resources to suit the needs of the students you are supporting. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need experience e working with ASD, SEMH, Complex needs and must be available to commit to a full-time, long-term role starting from September.
