Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - September 2025 Start
Location: Lambeth, South East London
Pay: £95 - £115 per day
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract Type: Term-Time Only (Long-Term / Temp to Perm)
Start Date: September 2025
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children who require additional support to access their learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, Speech & Language Needs, and Global Developmental Delay
Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
Assisting with the implementation of EHCPs and individual learning plans
Supporting learning in and out of the classroom, helping pupils to develop social and emotional skills
Liaising with the SENCO, class teacher, and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs (in a school or care setting)
Be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic
Be confident managing behaviour and supporting emotional regulation
Be available full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
