SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary - Lambeth
Location: Lambeth, London
Pay: £90 - £95 per day
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Term-time onlyReeson Education is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Lambeth. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment with students who have SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), and complex needs.
About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them to access learning and develop key life skills. The school is located in Lambeth and is known for its inclusive ethos and dedicated staff team.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children with special educational needs and looking to gain valuable experience in a rewarding setting.
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
Strong understanding of ASD, SLD and complex needs
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Training in PECS, Makaton, or Team Teach is desirable but not essential
Comfortable engaging with personal care when needed
