💼 Contract: Full-time | Full academic year
SEND schools and speech-language bases across Waltham Forest are looking for experienced or aspiring SEN TAs to support children with speech and language difficulties, including developmental language disorder (DLD) and ASD.
Responsibilities include:
Using structured communication programs (e.g. Makaton, PECs)
Supporting pupils in both academic and social activities
Assisting in therapeutic interventions and language sessions
Creating a safe and nurturing learning environment
Experience supporting children with communication needs is preferred but training is available.
