Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a vibrant and diverse secondary school?
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN TA to join our supportive team at a well-regarded secondary school in Tower Hamlets, starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
Support the class teacher in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons
Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Liaise with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to support student progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN in a school or similar setting
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or a degree) is desirable but not essential
