SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Greenwich
Location: Greenwich, South East London

Start Date: September 2025
Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a fantastic primary school in Greenwich that is looking to appoint an experienced and committed SEN TA to join their dedicated team this September. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone who is confident in working 1:1 or in small groups to support pupils with special educational needs.
🧩 Key Responsibilities:
Providing tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH
Assisting the class teacher in delivering differentiated activities and maintaining a positive classroom environment
Monitoring pupil progress and adapting support strategies as needed
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their emotional and academic development
Collaborating with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals to ensure individual needs are met
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting
A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach to support
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A valid Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through SANZA
