Teaching Assistants to support children with Moderate Learning Difficulties
Full-Time | Ashford | £88.94 - £90 per day
Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs?
Tradewind Recruitment is sourcing Teaching Assistants to support children with PMLD Needs in various schools in the Ashford area. These roles can be ad-hoc, temporary, or long-term positions.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
Able to maintain a calm, patient, and adaptable approach in challenging situations.
Comfortable supporting students with personal care needs, including toileting and feeding.
Knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality, and relevant education policies is a plus.
Essential Requirements:
Willingness to travel to Ashford and commute up to an hour if needed.
A strong work ethic and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
Must have, or be willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service.
Right to work in the UK.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
