Job Description
We are working with a lovely, inclusive primary school in W9 who are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team from September. The roles will involve 1:1 or small group support for children in Reception or Year 1, most of whom have autism – some may be non-verbal.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with ASD (including non-verbal pupils)
* Help implement personalised learning plans and communication strategies
* Support pupils in class and during transitions throughout the school day
* Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCO, and therapy teams
* Create a calm, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
About You:
* Experience working with children with autism is essential
* Comfortable supporting non-verbal pupils and using visual or alternative communication methods (PECS, Makaton is a plus)
* Patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting individual needs
* Available full-time from September, 8:30am–3:30pm
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
