Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistants (Full-Time)
Location: Primary School, WS3
Start Date: September 2025
Working On Behalf Of: Smile Education
Smile Education is looking to recruit several experienced and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time roles at a primary school in the WS3 area, starting in September. These long-term positions are based within the school’s dedicated SEN Hub, supporting pupils with a range of complex needs and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs, including those with SEMH, ASC, and behavioural difficulties
Work closely with the school’s SEN team to deliver consistent, structured support
Create a positive, safe, and engaging environment for all pupils
Help implement individual learning plans and behaviour strategiesThe Ideal Candidate:
Have prior experience working with SEN pupils in a school or similar setting
Must have a Level 2 or Level 3 relevant qualification in Childcare & Primary Education
Be confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Be committed, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a teamThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on young lives and who are looking to grow their career in SEN education. The role is long-term with the potential to extend.
