About the Role:
Teaching Personnel are working with a reputable school in Bedford to find a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant. You will support students with a range of special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop vital academic and social skills. Your role will involve one-to-one and small group support, implementing tailored learning plans, and collaborating with teachers to ensure student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
Help adapt resources and create a supportive learning environment.
Assist with students’ personal care needs and promote positive behaviour (if required).
Work closely with teachers and the SENCo to monitor progress.
About You:
Experience working with children, preferably with SEN.
Understanding of various SEN needs and how to support them effectively.
Strong communication skills and a team player.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA qualification) are a plus.
