Location: Walmley, Sutton Coldfield (B76)
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £455 - £480 per week
Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting learning in Key Stage 2?
We're looking for a committed individual to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Walmley, Sutton Coldfield.
About the Role:
This full-time Teaching Assistant position will be based in a vibrant Year 4 classroom. You'll be working closely with the class teacher to support whole-class teaching and learning. The role involves:
Supporting students across the classroom to access the curriculum.
Assisting pupils who may require extra support, including those with Special Educational Needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD).
Delivering small group interventions in core subjects.
Conducting 1:1 reading and academic assessments.
Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Supporting classroom organisation and day-to-day teaching activities.What We're Looking For:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with children across Key Stage 2.
A background in supporting pupils in an academic environment.
Preferably, experience working with pupils with SEN.
Confidence in leading small group interventions in core subjects.
A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
