Location: Kingston Upon Thames
Start Date: September 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) including autism, speech and language needs, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a well-resourced specialist provision
Support learning through tailored strategies and structured routines, promoting independence and progress
Assist with personal care and emotional regulation as required
Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and teaching staff to deliver individual education plans (IEPs)
Monitor and record progress, supporting the overall wellbeing and development of pupils
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, either in a school or care setting
Be patient, empathetic, and passionate about making a positive impact in pupils’ lives
Be confident supporting children with high levels of need, including sensory or behavioural challenges
Be a strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
Be willing to support with personal care and physical needs
Hold a valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
