SEN Teaching Assistant Job Vacancy SEN Teaching Assistant role in: Willenhall Starting date: September 2025 Salary: £90 - 105 per day, dependant on experience Temporary, ongoing Contract Full Time Vacancy (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)SEN Teaching Assistant Specification We are currently seeking a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time job in a SEND School in Walsall. To be considered you must have a passion for supporting SEND learners and have an expert knowledge of the SEND school curriculum, along with and having a caring and nurturing approach to your work. You must be a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant (level 2 minimum) Have a excellent knowledge of the UK SEND system Be able to nurture and support young children with SEND Ideally have worked at least 12 months within Special Needs Safeguarding level 1 trained Dedicated to supporting young SEND learnersThe school is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant This specialist school supports children with behavioural needs, SEMH/SEBD (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health/Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties), and moderate learning difficulties. They are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced individual who can effectively support students with these specific needs. In this role, you'll work closely with pupils to help develop their learning abilities and manage associated behaviours. The ideal candidate will be proactive, engaging, and passionate about working with young people, particularly those with social and emotional challenges. As this is a specialist SEND setting, professionalism and diligence are essential. You will often work independently with students who present a wide range of needs, so a strong understanding of individual support strategies is key to success in this role.
