Job Description
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Peckham starting September 2025.
This long-term position is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and challenging behaviour.
Job Details:
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Setting: Secondary Boys PRU
Location: Peckham, Southeast London
Start Date: September 2025
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Type: Long-term position
Pay: GBP106 per day
About the Role:
Youll be working with secondary-aged boys with diagnosed conditions such as ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, all of whom present with challenging behaviours. The school provides a highly supportive and structured environment, and you'll play a vital role in helping students succeed both academically and emotionally.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting children or adults with SEN
Right to Work in the UK
Enhanced child and adult DBS on the Update Service
Two recent references covering the past 2 years of employment
