Now Hiring: SEN Teaching Assistants – Full-Time & Part-Time Roles! Location: Maidstone and surrounding areas Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Short-term, long-term & temp-to-perm opportunities Daily Rate: £90–£105 (depending on experience) Agency: Teaching Personnel Are you compassionate, patient, and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for a range of full-time and part-time positions within Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Maidstone and surrounding areas, starting this September. These rewarding roles will involve working closely with students who may have a wide range of learning difficulties and complex needs, either 1:1 or in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum and develop socially, emotionally, and academically. You may be supporting students with: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) Physical Disabilities or Sensory Impairments Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) What we’re looking for: Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs is highly desirable Individuals with previous experience in a classroom, care, or youth support setting Graduates with a background in psychology, education, or related fields looking to gain experience in SEND Calm, adaptable, and resilient personalities who thrive in supportive roles What we offer: Competitive weekly pay, paid via PAYE Full access to CPD and specialist SEN training Supportive consultants with experience placing staff in SEN settings Opportunities to work in outstanding SEN schools with excellent staff support Whether you're looking to develop your career in special education or take your first step into a highly rewarding field, we’d love to hear from you.
