Job Title: Full-Time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Support Assistant (LSA)  Contract: Long Term, Temp to Perm Possible Start Date: 1st of September 2025 Location: Rochester, Kent Daily rate: £90-£105 About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN LSA to join a supportive school team on a full-time basis from September. This is a long-term role with the exciting possibility of a temp-to-perm contract for the right candidate. The successful applicant will provide 1:1 support for children and young people aged 4 to 18 who experience Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored 1:1 support to pupils with ASD across a range of ages (4-18) Assist teaching staff in the classroom to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development in line with individual needs Contribute to the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies Liaise closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure consistency in support Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working in SEN classrooms or with children who have additional needs Personal experience or previous roles as a support worker with SEN children is highly valued Psychology graduates interested in applying their knowledge in an educational setting are welcome to apply Strong understanding and empathy for children with ASD and other SEN needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting young people’s learning and wellbeing Why Apply?
