Salary: Band 4 Points 3-7 (£24,375 - £25,848 pro rata, term-time only)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm (39 weeks/year, term time only)

We're seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive secondary school community in Shepherd's Bush. This rewarding role focuses on supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Your Role Will Include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for SEND pupils in class and around school
Assisting with intimate care needs (following safeguarding protocols)
Implementing EHCPs and personalised learning plans
Supporting social communication, emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
Collaborating with teachers, SENDCO and external specialists (OT, SALT etc.)
Preparing resources and assisting with pupil progress monitoring
Supervising breaktimes and participating in school trips/activities
We're Looking For:
GCSE Maths & English (A*-C/9-4) – essential
Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEND
Understanding of SEND conditions and inclusive strategies
Patience, empathy and ability to build trusting relationships
Team player with strong communication & organisational skills
Willingness to assist with personal/intimate care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
