SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across a range of subjects and age groups, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. Your key responsibilities will include working with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning, clarify instructions, and encourage active participation in lessons.
You will work closely with the class teacher to assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons, adapting activities where needed to support different learning styles. Your role will also involve helping to manage classroom behaviour, preparing learning materials, and supporting the overall smooth running of the classroom environment.
Monitoring student progress, recording observations, and providing feedback to the teacher will form an important part of your role. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with both students and staff are essential. The ideal candidate will be patient, enthusiastic, and committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
