Employment Type – Full time (8.30 – 15.30)
Contract Type - Fixed Term
Salary - £89 to £95 per day PAYE

The school –
This is a single form entry school with an Early Years Unit for Nursery and Reception aged children. They are part of the Diocese of Westminster Academy Trust, having been an academy since July 2012. They are a happy, supportive team who were graded as 'good' by Ofsted in March 2023. They enjoy first class support from parents, governors and the pupils themselves.
The role -
We are looking to appoint a caring teaching assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), supporting them in accessing the curriculum and making progress across personalised targets. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored interventions and promote independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to pupils with specific learning needs.
* Assist with the planning, delivery and evaluation of personalised targets and support strategies.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to monitor progress and adjust approaches accordingly.
* Support integration into classroom activities and social settings.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have prior experience supporting children with SEN. (not essential)
* Be patient, empathetic, and resilient.
* Understand the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality.
* Be able to communicate effectively with children and staff.
* Be committed to the ethos and values of our Catholic school.
