Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am–4:00pm)
Contract: Long-term agency placement (via ANZUK), with potential for permanent opportunities
Pay: £90–£105 per day
SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Wembley (September Start)
ANZUK Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Wembley to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role supporting a pupil in Year 1 with special educational needs, including communication and sensory needs.
The school is looking for someone who can provide consistent, nurturing support and help the child feel settled and confident in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 classroom support to a pupil in Year 1 with identified SEN
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement personalised strategies and interventions
* Promote the pupil’s academic, emotional, and social development
* Assist with transitions, sensory regulation strategies, and classroom routines
* Contribute to creating a calm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., Autism, Speech & Language needs, sensory processing differences)
* A patient, empathetic, and structured approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Full-time availability from September 2025
