About the Role:
Simply Education is currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Cambridge. The school supports students aged 6-19 with a range of needs including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), ADHD, and other specific learning difficulties. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, offering the opportunity to make a long-term impact in a supportive and inclusive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students on a 1:1 or small group basis
Assist in delivering individual education and behaviour plans
Support students' social, emotional, and academic development
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other staff
Support with personal care needs where requiredRequirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
A calm, compassionate, and proactive approach
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) preferred
Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update ServiceWhat We Offer:
