Join GSL Education as an SEN Learning Support Assistant – Secondary, Waterlooville
Are you passionate about supporting secondary school students with SEN?
We’re excited to present a rewarding full-time opportunity in a Good‑rated secondary school near Waterlooville. This position sits within a dedicated resourced provision, offering high-level, specialist support to students with Autism and Dyslexia.
About the Role:
Provide in class support, one-to-one and small group interventions, and mentoring, aligning with class or individual targets.
Assist students with Autism and/or Dyslexia within both the resourced provision and mainstream settings.
Support in exam access arrangements and deliver both academic and pastoral help.
Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am to 3 pm, including short breaks
What We’re Looking For:
Passion for SEN: Enthusiasm to help young learners overcome barriers and thrive.
Strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills, with the ability to effectively support academic progress.
Relevant qualifications or training are required; experience with SEN or social communication difficulties is a valuable asset but not essential
Commitment to professionalism, safeguarding, and collaborative teamwork.
