Location: Preston
Salary: £98 per day
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
Start Date: As soon as possible
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive SEN school in Preston.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in SEN or a strong desire to work in this rewarding field.
The Role:
Provide dedicated support to pupils with a variety of special educational needs, both one-to-one and in small groups.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and tailored learning activities.
Support pupils' emotional, social and academic development in line with their individual needs.
Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
Provide additional care and support where required.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with SEN (as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or through personal/lived experience) is highly beneficial.
A caring, patient and resilient approach to supporting children and young people.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
A genuine passion for helping every child achieve their potential.
