About the role:
A Special needs School in Sutton have an opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant or LSA to join them on a contract basis.
This is a speclalist role and requires someone with a strong backround supporting children (any ages) who have additional needs.
Responsibilities:
In this role you would be required to support students' learning, social, emotional and physical development
Working closely with Children on Education Healthcare Plans
Work closely under the guidance of the SENCO and class teacher
Manage behaviour whilst encouraging promoting positive learning methods
Requirements:
Experience working with children in a school setting
A patient, positive outlook on supporting Special Educational Needs
Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process one
Two profesional referee contacts
