SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Colchester, Essex
£88 – £105 per day (PAYE)
Full-time | Term-time only

Vision for Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Colchester. This rewarding role involves working 1:1 with a pupil with additional needs, helping them thrive both academically and socially.

What You’ll Be Doing
Provide personalised 1:1 support for children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, or communication needs.
Assist with EHCP targets, lesson activities, and behaviour plans.
Build strong, supportive relationships that boost confidence and independence.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
✅ What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting children with SEN (school, care, or community settings).
A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
