Job Responsibilities
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils' learning in 1:1 or small group settings.
Assist teachers with planning, resources, and differentiated activities.
Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and social skills.
Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to support individual pupil needs.
Qualifications/Experience
To succeed as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need:
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
Right to work in the UK
Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable
Strong communication skills, patience, and a supportive approach
