SEN Teaching Assistant - Behaviour Mentor Focus Salary: £105 - £125 per day Location: Hackney, East London (excellent transport links across the borough) Start Date: September 2025 - full academic year commitment About the Role We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 2, with a strong emphasis on behaviour mentoring and emotional regulation support. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs (SEMH), or a keen interest in helping pupils develop positive coping strategies. As part of the role, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural and SEN needs. Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals. Act as a positive role model, fostering resilience and confidence in pupils.
