We’re looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Bradford, supporting pupils with autism and complex learning difficulties. This isn’t just a classroom role—it’s about building trust, creating calm, and helping children feel safe enough to learn and grow.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups within a specialist SEN provision
Helping children develop routines, independence and communication skills
Using patience and creativity to make learning accessible and enjoyable
Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and therapists to provide consistent, holistic support
Creating a safe, structured space where every child can thrive
What we’re looking for
Experience working with children or young people with SEND (autism experience a bonus!)
A calm, positive and resilient personality
Strong communication skills—you’ll be a key part of the team around each child
