Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Cambridge,UK
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only
Simply Education is currently seeking a resilient and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN (Special Educational Needs) school. This full-time position is ideal for someone passionate about making a real impact on the lives of young people with additional needs.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN and additional learning needs
Assist in managing challenging behaviour with a positive, therapeutic approach
Work alongside the class teacher to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
Help students develop social skills, emotional regulation, and independence
Support the implementation of individual learning and behaviour plans🔹 What We Are Looking For:
Some experience working with children or young people with SEN needs
High levels of resilience, patience, and empathy
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Full-time availability (Monday-Friday, term time)
