Job Description
SEN Teaching Assistant – Kilburn (North West London)
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school community in Kilburn. This role is ideal for graduates considering a future in education, aspiring teachers, or those with experience supporting young people with additional needs.
The Role

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential

Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised strategies and interventions
*
Encourage independence, resilience and confidence in students
*
Support emotional wellbeing and promote positive behaviour in line with the school’s values of respect, kindness and inclusion

A genuine interest in supporting students with SEN, including autism, ADHD and learning difficulties

Patience, empathy and strong communication skills

The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
