SEN Teaching Assistant - EYFS Focus - Peterborough - Immediate Start
£90-£100 per day | Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Location: Peterborough

Tradewind are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within a warm and inclusive school setting in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children with special educational needs.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop key early skills in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN in EYFS
Support children with a range of needs including ASD, speech and language delays, and developmental difficulties
Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Requirements:
Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, or similar role supporting children with additional needs
Experience or knowledge of EYFS framework preferred
Patience, empathy and a calm, caring attitude
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
