Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £90 - £115 per day (PAYE, DOE)
SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary SEND School, Barnet
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Primary SEND School in Barnet from September 2025.
The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and learning difficulties, offering a nurturing and structured environment where every child is supported to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Assist teachers in delivering adapted lessons and learning activities
Support with behaviour strategies and encourage positive choices
Promote independence, confidence, and social development in pupils
Requirements:
Experience supporting children with SEND (school, care or youth work settings)
A patient, enthusiastic and proactive approach
Good understanding of autism, SEMH and ADHD
Team Teach or equivalent training is desirable but not essential
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
