The school is looking for an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right individual. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting students with a range of additional needs across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. This role is vital in ensuring every student can access learning, build independence, and reach their full potential.
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who:
Has proven experience supporting students with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Can build strong relationships with students, encouraging engagement, confidence, and resilience
Demonstrates patience, empathy, and excellent behaviour management strategies
Is flexible and able to adapt to the needs of different students and lessons
Works collaboratively with teachers, the SENCo, and wider support staff to ensure consistent support
