At The Grange SEN School in Manchester, they are dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is supported to achieve their full potential. We are currently seeking a committed and compassionate Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join their experienced team. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a purpose-built, inclusive learning environment, helping to shape the future of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). About the Role: As an Early years foundation stage SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the wider SEN team to support pupils with a range of complex needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, learning delays, and sensory processing challenges. Your responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils in EYFS Assisting with the implementation of personalised learning plans Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment Liaising with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary or special school setting A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting individual needs Excellent communication and teamwork skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable What We Offer: A supportive and collaborative working environment Ongoing training and professional development opportunities The chance to work within a specialist setting that truly values inclusive education Access to a range of wellbeing support and staff benefits For more information and to apply, contact (url removed) (phone number removed)
