Teaching Assistant Level 3 (SEND Leadership)
Full-time, Term-time only
Are you an experienced SEN TA ready to take the next step?
This is a unique opportunity to lead by example, working closely with a school’s SENDCo to ensure pupils with EHCPs – mainly in KS2 – receive the provision they deserve.
You’ll still be hands-on with pupils every day, but what makes this role different is the leadership element: mentoring other TAs, modelling best practice in the moment, and helping raise standards of SEND support across the school.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting the SENDCo in coordinating provision for pupils with EHCPs (Section F).
*
Modelling effective strategies in class and mentoring colleagues on the spot.
*
Helping to design and deliver training for the wider TA team.
*
Monitoring and adapting provision to ensure consistency and impact.
*
Contributing to reviews of pupil progress and provision planning.
What we’re looking for:
*
Significant experience supporting pupils with SEND, ideally in KS2.
*
Strong knowledge of EHCP Section F and how to put it into practice.
*
The confidence and credibility to coach and mentor other TAs.
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*
A collaborative, positive approach and a genuine passion for inclusion.
*
A Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent experience.
